To be eligible for the SBI PO exam, you must meet the following criteria:

• Nationality: You must be an Indian citizen to be eligible for the SBI PO exam.
  
  
• Age Limit: You must be between the ages of 21 and 30 to be eligible for the SBI PO exam. There are some age relaxations available for certain categories of candidates.
  
  
• Educational Qualification: You must have at least a bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university. Candidates who are in the final year of their degree program can also apply, but they must complete their degree before the date of joining the bank.
  
  
• Physical Fitness: You must be physically fit to be eligible for the SBI PO exam. You will be required to undergo a medical examination after the selection process is complete, and your appointment will be subject to medical fitness.
  
  
• Other Requirements: You must not have any criminal records and must be of good character. You must also be proficient in the official language of the state or union territory in which you are applying.

‘d’ & ‘e’ - Only those persons, who suffer from any one of the following types of disabilities, are eligible to apply under this category:

• Specific Learning Disability: (SLD) means a heterogeneous group of conditions wherein there is a deficit in processing language, spoken or written, that may manifest itself as a difficulty to comprehend, speak, read, write, spell, or to do mathematical calculations and includes such conditions as perceptual disabilities, dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia, dyspraxia and developmental aphasia.
  
  
• Mental Illness: (MI) means a substantial disorder of thinking, mood, perception, orientation or memory that grossly impairs judgment, behaviour, capacity to recognise reality or ability to meet the ordinary demands of life but does not include retardation which is a condition of arrested or incomplete development of mind of a person, specially characterised by sub normality of intelligence.
  
  
• Autism Spectrum Disorder (Mild)- ASD (M): Autism Spectrum Disorder means a neuro- developmental condition typically appearing in the first three years of life that significantly affects a person’s ability to communicate, understand relationships and relate to others, and is frequently associated with unusual or stereotypical rituals or behaviours.
  
  
• Multiple Disabilities: MD means multiple disabilities amongst LD, VI, HI, SLD, MI &ASD (M).
  

• English Language: Reading comprehension, Verbal reasoning, Verbal ability, and English grammar
  
  
• Quantitative Aptitude: Data interpretation, Data analysis, Simplification, Number systems, Percentage, Ratio and Proportion, Profit and Loss, Simple Interest and Compound Interest, Time and Work, Time, Speed and Distance, Sequence and Series, Permutation and Combination, and Probability
  
  
• Reasoning Ability: Verbal and non-verbal reasoning, Analogy, Classification, Word formation, Statement-based questions, Series, Blood relations, Sitting arrangement, and Coding-Decoding
  
  
• General Awareness: Current events, Static GK, Banking and financial awareness, and Economic awareness

(i) Objective Test: The duration of objective test is 3 hours, and it consists of 4 Sections of total 200 marks. There will be separate timing for every section.

Note: Sectional Marks will not be maintained for both Preliminary & Main Examinations.

Selection criteria for Phase-III: Category wise merit list will be drawn on the basis of the aggregate marks scored in Phase-II (Main Exam). There will be no sectional cut-off. Candidates numbering up to 3 times (approx.) of the category wise vacancies will be shortlisted for Phase-III from the top of the category wise merit list subject to a candidate scoring the minimum aggregate qualifying score, as decided by the Bank.
