The Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) is currently accepting online applications from eligible Indian citizens for the position of Assistant Administrative Officer (Generalist). To be considered for this role, candidates are required to submit their applications via online mode only. No other forms of application will be accepted.

The application process for the LIC ADO 2023 exam is online, and candidates can start registering from 21st January 2023 to 10th February 2023. To be eligible for the exam, candidates must be Indian citizens and have completed graduation. The age limit for the exam is 21 to 30 years. The Life Insurance Corporation (LIC) has announced recruitment for the post of Apprentice Development Officer (ADO) in 2023. LIC, established in 1956, is India's largest insurance company and an Indian state-owned insurance group and investment company. The LIC ADO notification 2023 has been released for all 8 zones with a total of 9294 vacancies.

To be eligible for the LIC ADO exam, you must meet the following criteria:

• Nationality: You must be an Indian citizen to be eligible for the LIC ADO exam.
  
  
• Age Limit: Candidate must be between the ages of 21 and 30 to be eligible for the LIC ADO exam as on 01.01.2023. There are some age relaxations available for certain categories of candidates.
  
  
• Educational Qualification: You must have at least a bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university to apply for ADO. Proper documents from Board / University for having declared the result on or before 01.01.2023 have to be submitted at the time of interview. .
  
  
• Physical Fitness: You must be physically fit to be eligible for the LIC ADO exam. You will be required to undergo a medical examination after the selection process is complete, and your appointment will be subject to medical fitness.
  
  
• Other Requirements: You must not have any criminal records and must be of good character. You must also be proficient in the official language of the state or union territory in which you are applying.
  

LIC ADO official Notification PDF:

1] LIC ADO Passport Photo size 4.5cm × 3.5cm and be in between 20 kb–50 kb.

2] For the LIC ADO (Assistant Development Officer) examination, candidates should ensure that their signature image is in .jpg or .jpeg format, with dimensions of 140x60 pixels (preferred) and file size between 10kb-20kb, and also the size of the scanned image should not be more than 20kb.

3] For the LIC ADO (Assistant Development Officer) examination, the applicant must provide a left thumb impression on a white paper with black or blue ink in jpg/jpeg format, with dimensions of 240x240 pixels in 200 DPI (preferred for optimal quality) which is equivalent to 3cmx3cm (width x height) and file size between 20KB-50KB.

4] A hand written declaration on a white paper in black ink (text will be provided).

Phase-I: Preliminary Examination:

** English Language test will be of qualifying nature and the marks in English Language will not be counted for ranking.

Candidates equal to 20 times of number of vacancies in each category, subject to availability, will be shortlisted for Main examination.

Phase-II: Main Examination:

Main Examination consisting of objective test will be conducted online. Main examination will consist of objective tests for 160 marks for a composite duration of 120 minutes.

** Descriptive test of English Language etc. will be of qualifying nature and the marks in English Language will not be counted for ranking.

“Descriptive paper of only those candidates will be evaluated who qualify in the objective part of main Examination”

Note: Candidate MUST pass in each Section separately and should also obtain minimum marks in the aggregate to qualify for the online examinations (Preliminary and Main) and the interview.

The marks obtained in the main examination only, will be considered for shortlisting for the interview. The marks obtained in main examination and the marks obtained in the interview, will be considered for the final merit listing of the candidates.
