    9. Conclusions

One of the most prestigious MBA entry examinations in the nation is the NMAT from GMAC. NMIMS accepts the NMAT score for MBA admissions, along with many other prestigious B-schools. Naturally, it is a popular subject among Indian MBA aspirants each year. The NMAT exam has a distinct format than the other national entrance exams, so it requires a special strategy. But if you have a good preparation plan and are committed, you can pass it just like any other admission exam. Additionally, concentrate on conceptual clarity rather than memorising a tonne of formulas. Each segment should be practised for at least 45 to 1 hour each day.

The NMAT by GMAC™ exam is a computer-administered exam owned by the Graduate Management Global Connection (India) Private Limited (GMGC), a subsidiary of the Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC).

The NMAT by GMAC™ exam is now available in two modes i.e. Exam at the Test Centre and Online Proctored Exam at Home within India. For Rest of the World, the exam is only available as Online Proctored Exam at Home.

A test taker can take the NMAT by GMAC™ exam up to a maximum of 3 times (first attempt plus 2 retake attempts) including no-shows if he/she wishes to. There is a mandatory gap of 15 days between two attempts hence early scheduling of the exam enables the test taker to plan the retakes within the testing window to improve the score.

Questions in the NMAT by GMAC™ exam are selected from the question pool for each examinee based on his or her performance on the questions previously answered. A candidate's questions are targeted at his or her ability level; therefore, a high-scoring candidate generally receives a more complex sample of questions than a low-scoring candidate. The NMAT exam is scored by obtaining the candidate’s final ability estimate based on the probabilistic model approach of modern test theory and transformed to a scaled score ranging from 12 to 360.

No. If a test taker completes answering a section before the allotted section time expires, the balance time cannot be added to the next section’s allotted time.

Candidates with a 5 years integrated courses can fill up the same percentage for graduation and post-graduation.
